Key benefits of goats milk

Calcium
Goat’s milk is a good source of calcium.  500 ml will provide between 60-70 per cent of the recommended daily allowance for adults (RDA)

Digestion
The fat content is similar to cow’s milk but in goats milk there is a higher proportion of small fat globules which make it easier to digest.  Smaller fat globules help bowel movements – a great relief to those with constipation and haemorrhoidal problems.

The proteins in goat’s milk form softer curd in the stomach which also helps digestion.

Low Fat
Goats milk is approximately 96 per cent fat free.  If you prefer an even lower fat content, semi-skimmed goat’s milk is widely available.

Cholesterol
Goat’s milk has a lower cholesterol content than other natural milks.

Catarrh
Goat’s milk is not mucous forming and is less likely to be congestive.
